Web Design For Plumbers
Website design for plumbers
Plumbing has two distinct search modes. Emergency searches — "burst pipe plumber near me", "hot water system leaking" — are urgent and mobile. The customer calls the first business that answers. Non-emergency searches — "gas fitting installation", "bathroom renovation plumber" — are researched, compared, and slower. Your site needs to serve both: a call button above the fold for emergencies, and service detail pages for the planned work.
What customers look for
What plumbers customers need to see before they enquire
A tap-to-call button visible without scrolling — for emergency plumbing, speed is the sale
Emergency vs non-emergency services separated clearly
Service areas listed — customers search "plumber [suburb]" and will not call if their suburb is not listed
Gas fitting certification or licensing mentioned, because gas work is regulated
Real builds
Websites built for plumbers
Every screenshot is a site that is live or was delivered. No mockups, no templates.

Holland Plumbing & Gas
A dark hero with a real job photo, service areas stated plainly, a real job gallery, and a contact bar that follows you down the page on mobile. The sticky contact bar was the key decision — plumbing enquiries are often mobile, and a call button that disappears when you scroll is a missed lead.

Pinnacle Plumbing NT
A site built for the Territory market, with service areas covering Darwin and rural NT. The form asks whether the job is emergency or planned, which routes the enquiry differently — emergencies get a call-back priority, planned jobs get a booking link.
What matters here
What matters on a plumbing website that does not matter for other trades
Plumbing is the trade where urgency matters most. A burst pipe or a hot water system failure cannot wait until Monday. The site needs to serve the emergency caller first — a phone number that is visible, tappable, and answered — and the renovation researcher second. Missed-call text-back is particularly valuable here because the customer who gets voicemail calls the next plumber on the list.
Emergency call button above the fold
For a burst pipe, the first plumber to answer gets the job. A call button buried below the fold is a missed emergency lead.
Missed-call text-back
If you are under a house and miss the call, a text within 30 seconds saying "we have your message, calling back shortly" stops the customer dialling the next number.
Emergency vs planned routing
A form that asks "is this an emergency?" lets you prioritise. Mixing emergency and renovation enquiries in one inbox means the burst pipe waits behind the bathroom quote.
Gas fitting licensing
Gas work is regulated. Showing your licence number or certification on the site builds trust and filters out customers who are looking for unlicensed cheap work.
Pricing
Website design pricing
The same pricing applies to every trade. The difference is in what the site needs to do.
- Single landing page$450
- One-page website$650
- Multi-page website (up to 6 pages)$1,400
- Additional page$180
- Care plan (hosting, updates, backups, edits)$59
- Domain$50
The care plan matters more than the build price. It keeps the relationship warm and the site maintained. Added to every quote by default.
All prices are in AUD and exclude GST. Telephony, SMS, advertising spend and third-party software are charged at cost and confirmed in writing before any work begins.
